Celebrating 65 years of serving children, the Kiwanis Club of Independence members created the Independence Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. The IRS recognizes the Independence Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. as a tax exempt charitable foundation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Tax Code. Donations to the Foundation are now tax deductible in whole or in part. The Foundation enables Kiwanis members and our supporters to engage in planned giving to support the Kiwanis Mission – “changing the world one child and one community at a time.” Planned giving means that a person has arranged for a charitable gift during his or her lifetime or after death, while meeting the donor’s current income needs and providing for heirs. We give donors the chance to leave a lasting mark on the world.

The Independence Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. holds several fundraising events including our 300 Club, Home Days, and the Semi-Annual Garage Sales.

The Independence Kiwanis Foundation, Inc. is holding its first fundraiser by sponsoring the 300 Club. Buy a ticket for $50.00 and you are entered to win in a monthly drawing. For more information, contact Gil Freilino at 216-524-4341 or by e-mail
